Born out of Oxford University, Fuel3D has offices in Oxford, UK and Greenville in North America.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to work in a fast-paced technology start up analysing and reporting on data from high profile evaluation trials to support our project value propositions.

To be part of our growing business, you’ll not only be adept at analysing, modelling and interpreting data but your attention to detail and accuracy in reporting to internal and external audiences will be second to none.  One of your key strengths will be to communicate ideas, problems and solutions effectively with others.

Day to Day you’ll be:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automation of processes and following through with the implementation of enhancements
  • Creating new methods from scratch – improving and developing methods and ensuring focused analytical review
  • Producing senior management reports utilising business analytics reporting tools such as Matlab/Python/R and Tableau for statistical analysis
  • Working with clients’ data, amalgamating and manipulating data and providing reliable analyses to highlight key performance indicators.

 What you’ll need: 

  • Educated to degree level in Maths, Statistics or related subject involving Maths such as Economics or Data Science or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience of using Matlab or Python
  • Experience of using Tableau
  • Proven experience of analysing, modelling and interpreting data
  • High quality, accurate and reliable reporting with exceptional attention to detail
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Excel to advanced level
  • Eligible to work in the UK

If you have experience of using R then so much the better.
